I don't get the hate for this guy. Oh no, he doesn't play wow and he writes about it. So did Brian Buckley. If you don't know who that is, go to cwsargeras.com and read the Scourge Chat Logs. I haven't read all the comments but someone said that Knaak messed up Tyrande. Umm...10 thousand years ago, yes she was a warrior willing to do what it takes. People CAN change in TEN THOUSAND YEARS! I mean come one. Of course she is going to dote over Malfurion when he returns. She LOVED him and hasn't seen him really in TEN THOUSAND YEARS! Knaak didn't turn her into a weakling by giving her a heart. "Strength is nothing if you have nothing to fight for." Yes, I read lore. I read too much lore. I can tell you bosses and why they are bad better than what they do. Does he mess up lore? Yes. METZEN messes up lore. I mean WoW is EVER-CHANGING and so should the story.Think of it this way. You're a Dwarven Archaeologist. For years, you have known that you are descended from the earthen of Uldaman. BUT, what if one day, you found a tablet of history saying, you were descended from Earthen of Ulduar that were exposed to the Curse of Flesh. See...I messed up lore. Oh no shoot me. And yet, there is a story there that CAN change. MMOs aren't your typical videogame and I think the books and lore should reflect. It SHOULD BE ABLE to change everyday and we should understand that.
