I actually rolled a hunter and priest the other week for joining one of the guilds, but haven't actually run into anyone from the guilds to ask them for membership. :/

Keep trying. There are usually several of us about. Try doing a /who blog or /who insiders. Not all of us have a character in Bloglings, but we'll do what we can to help you out. :)
