I get the feeling that because every spec can now safely use a dagger in the off-hand, that's pretty much all we'll be getting in the way of fast weapons which I'm not exactly averse to. It always felt silly swing a massive cleaver or longsword around with the weaker hand. A dagger in the left is cooler and more realistic.

Personally, I'm glad more rogue will be using daggers. When you think "rogue weapons", the first thing that comes to mind is daggers. It's even our class symbol!
In terms of combat, it never really made sense when you saw a rogue with nearly identical axes yet one was almost twice as fast as the other and as fast as a small dagger. Also, combat seems the most warrior-like spec (no offense) in that they're able to pick up pretty much any weapon and charge into battle, not necessarily matching.
