Hello. Forgive me for derailing your conversation but I wanted to ask you (experienced rougues) one question. I have good healer and good tank class already and I want to roll some really good dps class that will be viable in high-end raid in cataclysm. The question is simple - what does rogue brings to the table in terms of high-end raid environment when compared to other dps classes (like mage or warlock for example, or death knight)? Because I have doubts to roll rogue seeing this: http://worldoflogs.com/rankings/players/Icecrown_Citadel/dps/

Lvl 80 is no longer balanced, blizz has said as much. Rogues traditional bring one thing to the table, top DPS. Were probably the only class that HASNT undergone a fundamental redesign since vanilla, we're tweaked the least, if you look at patch notes especially theres usually not much for rogues. But theres a reason for that, were like sharks, killing machines so perfect theyre unchanged despite millions of years of evolution. Blizz likes to use us a top end baseline and balance everyone else around us. Expect rogues to be topping meters again at 85.But yeah, clothies are stupid OP right now, id like to see those pages pre 4.0.1.
