The Forsaken are not really asking for "sympathy" from the other races, they are asking for help from the horde races but not sympathy.
Think about it this way, the Prince of your kingdom just starting killing people, you try to run but your neighbor just lock the door and pretended to not be home. You get killed and raised as the living dead, and when you all of a sudden get your free will back, you go and kill the guy who did it to you, so....who the hell is next on the list?
Just because you turned into Wolves doesn't mean we are going to forget you ignored us in our time of need!
