And.. strictly speaking.. 12:00:00AM can't actually be put to a date. The split second between two days isn't on either of the days.Spooky.

@Henrah: Yes, it can. A day is defined to be 12:00:00.00 AM through 11:59:59.99 PM (with the decimal digits extended as necessary). There is no intervening period of time between days.(If there were, it would cause computers much consternation as they like to have their data be precise. :-) )

No way, any fraction of a second after 12:00:00 is the next day. There can't be random seconds out there unattached to anything. At least that doesn't make sense to me.....
