Now about lore. Blood Elves are narcists kinda 99,9% of them. They go big ego. If you are refering to Shattering you can mail your blames to Highborne. Those are the guys that are reforging your gear if nothing else this days.
Na'aru Kael'thas captured and sent to Silvermoon already knew what will happen to him long before it was acctualy done. It is revealed that (because of their ego) Blood Elves only imagined to be extracting magic and light out of him. While he was giving it freely.
If you read the quest to distrb the peace of Uther you would realize that Blood Elf was Uther's student. It was his way of vengance for desacration of Sunwell. He does regret it after you tell him Uther's words. (If only more people would read flavor/quest text).

Blood Elves from lore perspective, can be druids, actualy they are already (just few). They are called botanists and their job was to preserve the balance of nature in Quel'thalas.


Video is nicely done. Some people are wondering why is she standing inside while singing about druids. She is also singing about blood elves. And they like outdoors but will stil stay inside if its could outside.

I wonder, if blood elves screwed the Horde, how much is Alliance screwed with Gnomes...
