Can't wait for Blizz to swing the banhammer at anyone stupid enough to do what this incredibly irresponsible post suggests.

Scratch that. The source of this info is a blue post. So it's not irresponsible. It's just giving the illusion that WoW Insider came up with a workaround that Blizz revealed themselves.

How kind of you to be excited about other players being banned. Does the thought of dead puppies make you happy too?

Show me where I said we discovered it. I even credited the person who sent us the tip.
There doesn't always need to be something to get mad about, sheesh.

When you're suggesting a workaround that's in the gray area of Blizzard's ToS, I'd call that irresponsible. If said workaround has been deemed acceptable by Blizzard via a blue post, it might be worth mentioning in the article. If you weren't actually *aware* of the blue post, as it appears is the case, then I stand by my original assessment that it's irresponsible.
P.S. - Not mad. Amused would be a little more accurate.

@ Dante
The blue post renders the banhammer highly unlikely.
But do read through the thread; the blue poster doesn't sound like one of the regulars. I kinda wonder whether he goofed in sharing what he did, when he did. This one may not have necessarily been approved by "top people".

Hi, Mike Sacco - could we have this individual, who has been posting since the 9th of this month, and has ONLY been grief-trolling since day one, get the ban-hammer he so obviously wants to see?
Just wondering...

He's tech support, Grovin. He's not a CM, which is why you don't see him on any of the big announcements or general forums. He's restricted to the Tech Support forum. I think he's been around a while though.

LOL
It's sad how after Dante gets owned after being a moron on his first post, he tries to save face by still acting angsty and indignant! LMAO
Good save, Dante!
