That's very nice that he pointed the error out and got this in game, but... I actually liked that mistake.
I would much prefer to go to the Ironforge throne room and see a very cool character like Kurdran Wildhammer, who I remember from Warcraft II, who was in TBC, and who has a statue in Stormwind, then Falstad, a relatively unknown Knaak creation.

Exactly, thank you! It's a cool tribute, but Kurdran is a way better character and actually the rightful leader of the Wilderhammer Clan. I was really happy to see the old WC2 heroes coming back, now I'm kind of bummed.

Yeah, Kurdran was a badass, but Falstad is just another Knaak OC. Also, since Kurdran was Thane until his presumed death after crossing the Dark Portal (at which point it was handed down to Maz Drachip and then apparently to Falstad Dragonreaver, it seems to me that Kurdran would be the rightful Thane.
So yeah, thanks, Knaak. Kurdran is awesome, and it's annoying seeing control of his clan go to one of Knaak's original characters.
The only Knaak OC that I've ever liked was Thura, and that's only because she's a the last living relative of Varok Saurfang. She was pretty terrible in the book though. She wasn't too bright (considering how easy it was for Malfurion to convince her that it was he who killed Broxigar), and the narrative loved to go on and on about how ugly she was and how much she stank. Thanks for cemeting orc stereotypes, Knaak!
