Something I've not seen addressed about this story... is that in a way, this kid was grandstanding and making public what he as a Beta player could have just done quietly using the Bug Submission tool in Beta the way Beta players are supposed to do. I've also found bugs in the Beta, but I didn't go to Blizz Con and make a point of publicly pointing out the mistakes. I just submitted them via the in-game tool, and went about my day. This kid could have submitted the Falstad goof the same way, but rather than following the Beta testing protocol, he made a big show of himself. I'm not sure Blizzard should reward him for that, as it sets a bad precedent for future Beta testers.

Has it been confirmed he's definitely a beta tester? I'm not but I've seen enough Cataclysm Beta footage on You Tube to know who is in the Ironforge Throne Room.
