At this point I"m assuming the rifts in random zones are spawning, but the city invasions have not started yet. The "guides" on the major sites are all horribly inadequate for actually detailing stuff as it happens...

Exactly... I highly doubt at this point that the Cities are getting invaded, I've been on 4 hours and haven't seen any evidence, nor any evidence on the web. All I've seen is this site, mmochampion, etc saying things are happening that *I* have not seen, and my friends haven't seen.

I have a feeling they crammed things together on the PTR for testing, and these sites took the sequence as gospel and are now giving us disinformation based on what happened on the PTR.

If anyone has actually *seen* a big city invasion, I'd love to know about it.

The events were not crammed together on the PTR. It was about a week apart for the elemental invasions to start, then the elemental attacks on the cities to start.
