Just a friendly reminder to all that will be trying to automate their markets now. Please don't set it to undercut too much. That way, when you get undercut, and you will get undercut, it doesn't drive the market down too far too fast. Keep your undercuts reasonable and everyone will continue to make money on the items. Unless of course you're attempting to be extremely aggressive and push people out of the market.

the screen cap is from the inscription room in Dalaran, where the ink trader is. You have to zoom way out and then tilt your camera to look straight down at yourself.

Tell me about it!
You see 10 auctions for Item X @ 265g per auction. The natural inclination is to post your item for slightly less, say, 260g, maybe.
What I don't get are the people who come in and post for 150g...

@wutsconflag: I am thinking that "oh look some one posted at 250g and Item that took me 70g to make... so If I post at 150g people will think it is a bargain price and be more likely to buy it and I'll still have 80g profit."
or
They just want to get ride of it, also like me as I have been playing the ah less and less as glyph-mass filled my coffers, and just want to liquidate wrath stuff that will be worth less in cata.

I'm not sure that wrath stuff will be worthless in cata, but you do what you want =P I'm stockpiling certain things

@lownwolf: not worthless as in worth nothing, worth less as in the price of the item is no longer as high as it once, like say epic gems when cata hits

I love it when people post stuff like this. Classic example. Two days ago I bought crusader orbs at a very large discount, resetting the market (i bought the market out). Then some people tried to reset the market at 500g, which is way above the prim. saronite going price. I posted slightly below the PS price and tripled my money.
Please keep resetting the market to artificially high levels, so someone like me can post a sane price and get scooped up immediately.

If you think my price is too low, feel free to purchase mine and re-list it at your elevated price. That way, we both win. And don't even worry that I'll have more and relist...don't worry at all. :-D

@Duts, i don' t get how your plan makes economical sense.. you're massively undercutting my posts, but they're still getting bought, so sure you're making what, 1-2g off each post, whereas if you were to undercut by a couple silver you could be making 10-15g per post.. so yeah.. you keep posting and i won't even worry about it if you relist, i'll just keep buying your posts at basic cost of mats and relisting to making profit off of your misunderstandings =P
