Am I doing it wrong? Even with the buggy Glyph of Hammer of the Righteous and Glyph of Crusader Strike, my HoR nets more DPS and TPS than CS, both single target and AOE. Is there some reason to use CS instead of HoR?

Get a slow DPS weapon.

If you're using a current tanking weapon, then HotR does the same (or even more with 2-piece T10) damage than CS. In Cataclysm, tanking weapons will be 2.6 speed instead of 1.7-ish, so CS will hit much harder.

Yeah I'm with you on that one.I tried with the dummies a CS > CS > CS > SoR rotation and then a Hor > HoR > HoR > SoR rotation and with HoR glyphed for the 10% extra damage, I found very little in difference.I honestly think you can keep using HoR for single target use, I'm in a habit now of using HoR for multi targets, CS for single...but I don't think there is a great deal of difference between the two at this point. Also explains why the HoR glyph only effects the main target and not the AoE component, it might be a glyph just to bring HoR to an all-rounder replacement over CS.
