Worgen druid flight form video from Wowhead

Well, what do you know! We figured that worgen and troll druids would just get recolors of existing druid flight forms, but it looks like we were wrong. The latest Cataclysm beta patch added a brand new Swift Flight Form model for worgen druids, so it's safe to assume that trolls will have one soon as well.
I'm liking the Gilnean flag on the back of the form, as well as the serrated beak and big feathery mane. Wonder what kinds of touches the troll form will get? Guess we'll have to wait and see! And hey, maybe this means we'll see new moonkin forms too. A dog can dream.

This is awesome, although I'm not looking forward to raising 5000g+ again since I'll be rolling my worgen on a new server... and I can't justify rolling a second druid on my main server, where all my gold is. :X

I wish they would redo the land travel form given all the other things changed it looks horrible. But it would be the last thing on the list to upgrade after all. I think it would be awesome if they would changed what all the forms where based on race, not just how they look but that would probably get difficult figuring out an appropriated dps and tank form for each race.

They should totally re-do cheetah! I mean they've given a new tree form to us resto druids that we only get to show off for 30 seconds every 5 mins ( /sarcasm). Which, btw I have yet to put a talent point in said ToL in kind of a protest. Eventually I'm going to run out of places to put those talent points and it'll be the only empty left in the resto tree, but I figure.. theres no point.. except to show off a new form, every now and then. Travelcat should definitely see an update, that makes it more.. diverse.. depending on what kind of druid. I mean if the regular cat form can have tauren horns, why not cheetah?

They are working on them right now, I presume. They have already showed the "placeholder" moonkin forms, but it's obvious they're not final.

I would've loved a feral wolf instead of a cat form though, i think it would've made more sense, here;s to hoping a glyph will allow it.

I don't know about you, but I don't think of cows as being particularly feral or aggressive. Hell, I don't think I'd even so much as flinch if one jumped out at me from behind a bush.
A buffalo, maybe, but not a cow.

Actually "cow" is just what you call a female cattle in the same vein as lioness is a female lion and vixen is a female fox. A female buffalo is also called a "cow" same with a female hippopotamus.
And it doesn't matter whether a "cow" is feral or not. The main argument by people here is that Worgen look like wolves therefore they should have wolf form then why not a Tauren having a "cow" form (or buffalo or cattle form if you want to be gender neutral about it).

I really, really hope Trolls end up with a bat like whatshername from the Echo Isles event, though. Seeing a Darkspear turn into a bird would make my inner lore nerd cry.

Don't get your hopes up, i was hoping for their cat form to be something more like the zulian tigers. I also hoped the bear form was a rhino and the travel form was a raptor.

Except that Blizz stated only that the new races were going to be getting the same combat forms, for simplicity's sake WRT talents. They've said no such thing about Troll flight form. If we take the Echo Isles event as foreshadowing, Zen'tabra turned into a tiger (which we've gotten, just souped up), and she also turned into a bat. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.
My vain hope is that the reason we haven't seen the model yet is because they've had to update the current bat model to modern standards. If they ARE lazy enough to invoke the Gameplay and Story Segregation trope again, there needs to be a fair amount of retconning in the STV revamp considering how the old quests go out of their way to mention how the Darkspear hate bird spirits.

Trolls really should get a wind serpent flight form.
And here's my 2c on why:
Darkspear trolls are often found in the company of reptiles. Their mount are raptors, they sell snakes as pets, and their shadow hunters summon cobras. According to Seer Janidi in Zabra'jin (who gives the quest Spirits of the Feralfen), the Darkspear consider the serpent to be a powerful spirit, but they disdain bird spirits as "weak, capricious, and best left to the Amani".

It really just makes the most sense. If they do have bird flight forms I'm going to be very disappointed. Wonder if I can complain at the next blizzcon wearing a spiffy colored shirt and get an npc named after me....

Ugh, tell me about it. I am absolutely dreading the thought of a bird form for a troll, it makes absolutely no sense. Blizzard should no better. I understand that they want to keep things the 'same' so that no one appears to get special treatment, but for a simple aesthetic like Flight Form would a bat be really so hard to swallow? The Darkspear despise birds and consider them to be weak spirits, I just can't wrap my head around Blizz putting that in game. :( *crosses fingers*
