Well i would like to ask something, also i would like to see the community view / comments.

This is my first post, also i am not the best english speaker so, sorry about my english.

I am playing priest from the first day of Vanilla, i love it i have 4 priest and million of alt, but i am really unhappy with this all Cataclysm changes. I love healing, and i love my priest. When i started this game, i asked my friend which class what can do? He told me priest is one of the best healer if i want to be holy. I already loved it and over Vanille and TBC i was holy, and i loved it. I loved the TBC spirit stacking / waiting style, and even i loved the CoH spam in BT. Wotlk came out and Disc got a huge buff, i was holy but my new guild wanted me to respect so i did, and i absolutely love disc.

Cata comming and healers must DPS or we out of mana. I hate this view, even i understand blizzard view about, hey guys healers just stand there and doing nothing just watching one addon and 25 HP bar.... I would like to see those people at blizzard who think that, how they heal Heroic ICC with 0% and 5% buff. I never ever dps-ed when even i had nothing to heal, i didnt even used my dps spell at my UI in raids, and now everything for me changed. Even i dont want, i will must use Smite for being good priest, and keep my raid up but why? Why i must use it, why they cant make one talent hard and DPS lover Healer, and one who still keep his mana up without doing anything just, focus on our basic job -> which is healing. Its for me a little silly even i know i have a really stoned mind, but well i believe others around the game, loved just being a healer and not a dps at all.

So my questions to you. Do you think with better gear or special glyphs and talents, Both! Holy and Disc will can survive a Heroic Raid Boss fight without playing with his Smite, and of course do it, without loosing a lot healing than, those priests who using the Smite style?
