I noticed in Tanaris yesterday (while leveling an alt) that a paladin would run towards a mob and start casting Exorcism. The paladin never actually got into melee, and just chain casted Exorcism until the mob died. The paladin equal level to the mob, and the mob would die in 3-4 Exorcism casts.
When did paladins become casters?

It's the a talent, the best thing ever. There is a 20% chance auto-attacks cause Art of War state in which Exorcism becomes a free, instant attack. It really adds a lot of depth and it's fuuuun.

@ Chucks, "The paladin never actually got into melee". That means no Art of War. It means Exorcism just got spammed.

the only issue with that type of gameplay is that you'll run out of mana ridiculously fast...exorcism is very, very costly now along with consecration...so, even though it's powerful, without the proc, it's almost completely useless - or in the very least, you aren't hitting it at it maximum potential.

Except, ya know, Denounce.
I have two specs I run, one Holy healing, one Shockadin. It actually makes for a decent caster, as Gregg points out in the article. Exorcism is mad cheap -it's Crusader Strike that's expensive (though the glyph helps.)
