Block is not avoidance. Block is Block. In its previous form, Block was sometimes avoidance, sometimes mitigation, and sometimes nothing. Now, the goal is to stack Stamina where possible, keep Dodge and Parry roughly equal until Diminishing Returns makes them relatively too expensive (roughly ~21.6% and ~21.2%, respectively), then go for Mastery while maintaining enough Expertise and Hit to hold threat comfortably.

NICE now that is some straight forward concise information.

To expound on that, once you get the hit cap -- which is no longer at 263 hit rating, as that provides about 8.45% on bosses and L83 mobs, and you only need 8% (~246 rating?) -- your best bet is to:a) get block up there (~38% I think) through Mastery (which will also have a small threat gain w/Reckoning)b) stack Expertise towards 56 to push Parry off the table (maximizing threat, assuming a perfect priority/rotation)Big thanks to Theck and the wizards at Maintankadin for all of this, by the bye.
