Troll druids get unique bat flight form

Ever since we saw the worgen druid flight form, a unique re-skin of the traditional tauren and the night elf flight form bird, speculation has run rampant about what form troll druids would take for flight -- would it be a new creature like a bat, or another unique flight form bird model? Our prayers are answered. Troll druid, here I come!

this epic flight form gives second meaning to epic.
pure win, blizz.
Paultab Nov 10th 2010 3:16PM
Epic indeed! What's not epic is they're recycled the choppy, could-use-some-refinement, Bat mount animation.
Tribunal Nov 10th 2010 3:32PM
It is very cool. Kind of sucks for Worgen that they got the regular birdy though :c
Not sure what else they could fly as though.
Grokmar Nov 10th 2010 3:37PM
It looks like something out of a Sci-Fi Channel movie (I refuse to refer to them by their new spelling). Is the troll seal form going to be a Sharktopus?
busuan Nov 10th 2010 3:38PM
Yes, it's unique, and probably epic.
But a troll druid in bat flight form looks very much the same troll.
Wulfkin Nov 10th 2010 3:41PM
Yeah that's a general problem when it comes to the Worgen, when it comes to mounts and forms. Wolfmen are ridiculously cool. Wolf-birds or wolf-horses just are not cool....
Epic Troll Form is EPIC tho. One more point for da Horde!
Aris Nov 10th 2010 3:41PM
meh... Bring on the downrate but I don't really like it. I think it's kind of ugly, actually.
Artificial Nov 10th 2010 3:55PM
@Grokmar: Please use their new spelling. Refering to them by the old spelling gives science fiction a bad name. The new spelling makes it clear how far they are away from it... :p
QQinsider Nov 10th 2010 4:01PM
@Aris, I think it's ugly too, but most of the mindless fanbois on this site would rate you down if Blizzard released a dog turd and you didn't agree that it was *OMG EPIC !!!111!!!*
Astemus Nov 10th 2010 4:09PM
I think it's ugly. The bat has always been the ugliest flying mount to me, and this just makes me glad I play alliance.
Plus, bats creep me out. And people who like bats also creep me out. That is all.
Ice Nov 10th 2010 4:09PM
Good lord, nothing couldn't be more confusing than getting ninjaed by flightform gatherering flying bat in bright voodoo colors who steals your herbs under your nose.
RetPallyJil Nov 10th 2010 4:11PM
Maybe Worgen could be flying squirrels lol Well? Why not?
J.D. Nov 10th 2010 4:46PM
Oh man, who would have thought a really ugly, big-nosed midget troll with bat wings could be so awesome heh. Sorry cow, it's been great knowin' ya.
choopy Nov 10th 2010 6:07PM
Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either... prefer the Night Elf version, but I'll stick with my Tauren, thankyouverymuch.
Cowy Nov 10th 2010 7:23PM
I ...
I'm not really sure if I like it or not. Part of me likes elements OF it...
The face is so...scrunched. Its like a shrunken head. Hmm...
The first thing I thought of though, is: Can it land?
I can't stand hover mounts that never land (like the rays and the dragonhawks) , and that would drive me nuts.
Schadenfreude Nov 10th 2010 7:35PM
I really like it! I love all the troll druid forms actually-- but to be honest, the models seem really unrefined compared to NE, tauren and worgen.
cheebamech Nov 10th 2010 8:12PM
@Grokmar ty glad to see that others remember it is supposed to stand for "Science Fiction Channel" idk wth "syfy" is supposed to be, reality show chan?
Angrycelt Nov 10th 2010 9:17PM
Yeah, umm... pass.
Nice work on making it a new flight form, glad all the races will have their own look. But I'm just not digging... that.
Amaxe Nov 10th 2010 10:58PM
So, if I understand it right, everyone *but* the trolls have the same bird form?
Skarn Nov 10th 2010 11:30PM
@Amaxe
The Night Elves, Tauren and Worgens all have a bird form, yes. Each has a very unique look though. So they are all birds, but not the same bird.
