Ever since we saw the worgen druid flight form, a unique re-skin of the traditional tauren and the night elf flight form bird, speculation has run rampant about what form troll druids would take for flight -- would it be a new creature like a bat, or another unique flight form bird model? Our prayers are answered. Troll druid, here I come!

Trolls get a unique flight form because they do not trust bird loa. Remember, troll druids derive their power from animal spirits (loa), not the Emerald Dream.
"Darkspear trolls are often found in the company of reptiles. Their mount are raptors, they sell snakes as pets, and their shadow hunters summon cobras. According to Seer Janidi in Zabra'jin (who gives the quest Spirits of the Feralfen), the Darkspear consider the serpent to be a powerful spirit, but they disdain bird spirits as "weak, capricious, and best left to the Amani."

If anything, the single model that has received the MOST effort in Cataclysm is the Worgen female. If they put less effort into it, they would have stuck with the original puppy/fox look the female had and called it done. Have they reworked the Goblins since the Alpha? Nope - there are tons of complaints about the female Goblin casting animation but they haven't changed it. Instead, they reworked the Worgen (both male and female) just about five kazillion times.
Also, although the troll flight form is unique, it is not a high-quality model like the Tauren/NE/Worgen flight forms. Instead, it is just a new texture slapped on top of the vanilla bat model.

@ eevzy.rar That being said, the female worgen is still BROKEN. I'd say it needs to be FIXED but I've already walked into that trap before. ;-p
With a few little tweaks, it could be perfect.

Agreed - the female Worgen is still a work in progress. But everyone knows they'll fix it before launch =). The fact stands that they've worked really hard on the female Worgen, and put much thought and effort into it.
In the end, what I'm saying is there is no bias towards either faction. The people doing this might play wow as well, and they might have their faction preference, but LOTS of people work on each model, each animation, each part of our characters and the game. And when you combine them you get one big collection of devs doing this job to pay their bills, not selfish individuals trying to better the side they like more.
