Around Azeroth: Drinks with the boss
Some people are just inveterate suck-ups at work. Dwight-Schrute-in-training Lloigor of <Group Therapy> on Khaz Modan (US-H) tried to suck up to new Warchief Garrosh Hellscream by taking him out for a few drinks in Blackrock Depths. But that Dark Iron beer is pretty potent, and Lloigor and Garrosh both blacked out, awakening four hours into a Molten Core run wearing nothing but their ridiculous shoulderpads. This gave tea party movement totally new meaning.
(note: I may not actually know what tea party movement is)

Geez. You mean the tea in tea party movement isnt about people who drink tea in their community gatherings and get really angry about things they read on newspapers?
(see: garrosh in the picture)
I blame european television for my lack of knowledge about tea party. I apologize for the incorrect stereotype I used to make my comment. I hereby acknowledge my mistake and get away for the future trolling made by anyone else about political debate.

How the fuck?
Vogie Nov 16th 2010 11:14AM
That's what I'm asking. I can't think of any way for the #NewChiefontheBlock to get in an instanced zone with a group. I'm good at kiting, but that's bending game mechanics...
Marbles Nov 16th 2010 11:29AM
After you save Orgrimmar from the Fire/Earth Elemental invasion, you can visit two new bosses - Theradras in Maraudon, and Flamelash in BRD. Garrosh accompanies you on your visit, and sticks around afterward.
Whilst I haven't actually done the "Garrosh instances", I did take Cairne for a run around Zul'Farrak after kill Gahz'rilla.
Samutz Nov 16th 2010 11:29AM
He's in the instance when you queue for the event boss after defending Orgrimmar from the elemental attack.

This is when lore got his tattoo in lore.
*After about 20 Dark Iron Ale Mugs*
"Hey, hey dude! Watch thish! Hand me that bear leather and that shtapler!"
"Uhh...Garrosh? You sure about this?"

The "Tea" in the Tea Party Movement is actually an acronym. "T.E.A" = "Taxed Enough Already"
So yes, the original ICE's post makes no sense at all.
lilywillylover Nov 16th 2010 10:34AM
I don't want to get political here but I do find it hilarious that 90% of the people in this TEA party movement have their taxes lower under the current administration than the previous one.
But I guess you can't do anything about human stupidity.
Numb Nov 16th 2010 10:35AM
Wow... way to be incorrect. That's actually a BACKRONYM for the Tea Party Movement....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backronym
"Taxed Enough Already" didn't start appearing until well after the Tea Party Movement started, and mostly just served as a catchy saying for signs and posters.
Side note: just to be clear, don't take my knowledge on this topic as indicative of my political leanings. I have nothing to do with the Tea Party, nor am I a supporter.
StClair Nov 16th 2010 12:38PM
Like Numb says, it's a backronym. The name's a reference to the Boston Tea Party, a famous act of early American drunken mayhem and vandalism civil disobedience in protest of high British taxes on tea and other goods.

StClair Nov 16th 2010 12:46PM
There was supposed to be a strike-through there. Silly comment system.
Read the above as:
early American drunken mayhem and vandalism ER I MEAN "CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE"
Heather Nov 16th 2010 4:18PM
@ StClair
yeah but without the original tea party, things may have gone very differently
it WAS civil disobedience. I was reading about what really happened that night recently, and none of the men who dumped the tea in the harbor harmed any of the men on the ships. sure it wasted the product and lots of money, but that was the point. I wouldn't call it drunken mayhem, and the vandalism was the prove a point
Can you tell I'm from Boston? lol
Hail Nov 16th 2010 9:36PM
Whooo! Go Boston! Yeah I gotta say I resent the vandalism bit, and it was also planed out, which is contrary to what your post would suggest. That said, they did destroy the equivalent to a gajillion dollars (approximation) worth of tea, so hey, say what you will about it. As it is its so steeped in US lore that what actually happened doesn't really matter compared to public perception.

ChaosInc Nov 16th 2010 10:54AM
"Backronym"? This is the first thing that came to mind when you read this? You need to find yourself a girl mate. Or maybe you have found one, but have been since incapable of wooing her. ;p
Either way. The point still stands. The comment made no sense at all, whether as an acronym, "backronym" or some other butthurt nerdraged comparison involving the actual Tea Party and this stupid pic.
icepyro Nov 16th 2010 11:09AM
And so Garrosh and Llogiar had tea and everyone lived happily ever after, except those who feel the need to claim this sentence makes no sense or any kind of pun.
And the Trolls and the T.e.a. party and the Tea party also went their separate ways. Because yeah, I dunno about that T.e.a. party, but there's this Tea party movement that named itself after the even commonly known as the Boston Tea Party.
