We'll start with a question that's probably on a lot of people's minds.

What will be the major changes between 4.0.3 and 4.0.3a?

Patch 4.0.3a will bring about the new face of Azeroth, where all the zones are changed, etc. ... This is called The Shattering. Or as Knob said:

4.0.3: World hasn't gone boom.
4.0.3a: World goes boom.

Carebear asked:

Are we really going to be able to play at midnight, or can we expect servers to be messed up for at least the first day after Cataclysm goes live?

That depends on where you live. Blizzard announced that, unlike other years, no matter where you live, you'll be able to play at 12:00 a.m. PST -- that's Pacific time. So if you're on the east coast, that means you'll be able to play at 3:00 a.m. on Dec. 7.

As far as the servers being stable, they usually are, for the most part. There are a few restarts throughout the day, but that's it. The only real problem is actually getting into the servers in the first place. The queues can get into the thousands, and people are in no real hurry to log off.

Where should I park my Horde 80s before Cataclysm to be able to jump right in to leveling?

Stormwind for the Alliance, Orgrimmar for the Horde. You'll be able to pick up the initial breadcrumb quests there and move on quickly and easily. Remember that Dalaran and Shat no longer have portals, so you're out of luck if you park there.

Will the seahorse mount from Vashj'ir be usable in any body of water? Or only in Vashj'ir?

Right now, you can only use it in Vashj'ir. Blizzard might change it at some point down the road, but for now, that's your answer.
