WoW Moviewatch: Gnome Hunter

Gnome Hunter is a new machinima by Bloodvein. The voice acting was performed by Propostris. Gnome Hunter clearly takes place after the Cataclysm, since the eponymous Gnome Hunter shockingly finds a tribe of gnomes preparing to hunt down Deathwing himself. These gnomes are actually my favorite part of the video. I don't know why I enjoy feral gnomes in tribal clothing so much. There's something about the idea of wild gnomes running rampant across Azeroth that tickles my funny bone.
The images and ambience of Gnome Hunter are incredibly strong, and it goes to show how well Bloodvein is growing as a creator. I really look forward to seeing further installments so that we can see what Bloodvein does with the series.

Good premise, but very weak in execution, story wise. Excellent work on the video.

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It's pretty neat to see how every movie bloodvein releases get better and better. I would have liked to have seen this video fully completed but I suppose this will suffice. I think that this is one video maker that is heavily underrated and I too look forward to the next release.

I think it's dumb that he didn't complete the video. Sure you missed the Blizzcon deadline, but why release something that isn't complete.

Why would I delete a video instead of releasing it? If your answer would be to just complete it, then my response would be that I have moved on to other projects. Although, people seem to be getting a kick out of the video, so I just may make more. There are others that just don't seem to get my jokes, puns, satire, etc., namely the accent I asked Propostris to do. He did an awesome job I might add. The caliber of commenters seem to be a lot higher here than some other places, but I will go ahead and say that the accent is intentionally bad. I may need to put a bit more thought into my scripting, and yes, I know I am not the greatest script writer. =]

Well, it's good to know that the accent was bad on purpose. But now the question is: To _what_ purpose? I didn't get the joke, I guess.
Aside from that, I liked it.

I dunno, it seemed like the story didn't serve much purpose. The effects were all pretty well done, but the story just doesn't seem to go anywhere. Also, like 1/3 of the video is credits.

Hmmm... I loved some of the features, like the hat hanging in mid-air, and the spears thrown at the guy, but I think I am too much of a lore nerd for this video. All I could think was '...but gnomes wouldn't be in tribes...' Which is the point.

Darn me and my odd suspension of disbelief criteria!
Got a chuckle out of epeen though. However, I think it would have been better fit for a tribe of Blood Elves.
