You want to be slightly more careful when copying over the WTF folder. In the root of it is a file called Config.wtf, which has a number of game, audio and video settings in it. While most of these should port over fine, some won't and could break the game significantly. In particular the rendering engine, if specified in the file, will be set to Direct3D, but on Mac you have to use OpenGL.In general, you should just copy over the WTF/Account director, and let the Config.wtf regenerate itself on the other OS. That'll save you quite a few problems when transferring over.
