You are of course absolutely right, that does sound like the most efficient way to slaughter your way through thousands of easy-to-kill mobs, but I'm going to have to have a BM dual-spec too, just in case I come across that new, tameable "Ghostcrawler" spirit beast, or any other nice-looking exotics! And, more pragmatically, for those long, tedious flights - a quick respec will allow access to pathfinding and its +10% mount speed, which, as 10% of 310%, will make it a bit quicker getting around.

I always thought that it was +10% to your BASE speed, not +10% of your current total speed?I.e., with Pathfinding your 310% mouned speed becomes 320%.

I had the same thought, too. I only recently added BM to my current spec, with the plan of finally getting me one of those new shiny exotic pets. I really hope I come across something special as I level!

At lvl 80, my hunter with the purchased Artisian flying skill and the 2 talent points in speed gets 451% flying speed according to Titan Speed (tried a macro and got the same). That is zippy! Only my lvl 80 Paly does better (with crusader on 492%), and my DK (410%) does worse.. PS buy Artisian skill at Valliance Keep for 4,250 Gold (revered)
