When you get to higher level mobs they do get tough. But those first couple levels where mobs are often level 78-79 and your combat rating percentages are still insanely high, things die really, really fast.

Also be prepared for your dps to go steadily down until you hit 85, as your crit, haste, and mastery plunges.
