Should we be opening with Aimed Shot when we get Rapid Killing or is the main draw of it just the free 50 focus associated with it from Rapid Recuperation?

The 50 focus is the main draw. Right now Aimed Shot is in a pretty sad state, but I'm still hopeful that it's something they'll fix before Cataclysm launches.

Aimed Shot damage isn't significantly higher than arcane shot atm, for a 3.5 sec cast that kills auto-shots and costs twice as much :( Currently it's only worth using for the free proc.
