If Free knot is no longer available how do you get your steamwheedle cartel rep back after killing bruisers? Last time I checked Free Know and the Gardok Ogre suit were the only way of getting steamwheedle to max rep without losing pirate rep.

The Zapped Giants quests in Feralas awards repeatable rep with the Steamwheedle Cartel. You can also kill Southsea Pirates and Freebooters. Both of these options will not affect Bloodsail rep.

http://www.wowjuju.com/topic/1627-the-insane-and-cataclysm/Might have changed, but.... "...If you are thinking about the Zapping Giants quest... that wont work. That is not repeatable anymore.Keep in mind that you don't have to have both Bloodsail and Cartel reputations at the same time at honored respectively at exalted levels. Now, if possible, you'll have to do it the normal way. Reach honored to pirates and after that reach exalted with the goblins. This seem to be the only way. However, you can keep killing pirates in Tanaris. They won't lower your Bloodsail reputation. This is the only way I could find for now..."Gonna be grinding a lot of pirates.

Actually, I was doing this last night, and the free knot quest isn't offered unless you have a shackle key in your bags and engage in a dialogue with Knot that starts with "So I found this shackle key..."It's a bad sign that she couldn't get a shackle key to drop, but assuming that's bad RNG, it's utterly in line with the current quest functionality.Unrelated question: is the stranglethorn arena event every 3 hours the same? Changed? Gone?

"Keep in mind that you don't have to have both Bloodsail and Cartel reputations at the same time at honored respectively at exalted levels."NO ... Must. Have. All. Reputation. Bars. At. Maximum.
