We're paying you for the articles submitted, and it's our journalistic standard here on WoW Insider to publish our articles under our real names. If we're going to say something, we're going to own up to it. : ) We have turned away promising applicants for various positions because they were unwilling to publish their work under their real name. That's a deal breaker for us.It might surprise a lot of people, but we do try to be professional here at WoW Insider. Being willing to own up to what we publish is a large part of that. There's no hiding behind a persona. We see it as very different from Real ID. We won't make you use your real name to comment on our site, but we sure will if you want to publish content here as a professional freelance journalist/blogger.
