DDT is harmless, even to children. What side effects are you talking about? The basis for your arguement is false, do you not realize this? It really is a miracle chemical. It has no effect on people, so how does spraying it to kill insects that transmit disease a lifestyle change? Its not and so your arguement has no weight. I lifestyle change actually affects the way we live. Imagine that you had to keep your heat lower in the winter in the name global warming. You would probably have to wear layers of clothes or wear your coat inside. That changes the way you live now. Some would say small change, but where do we draw the line?
You want it to be illegal to use resources as we see fit. And where does this authority come from? What gives any man the power to dictate what another does with their property? No man should EVER have that kind of power!
With how corrupt government is, do you really think they will be fair in the limits everyone gets? What does government run now that is efficient and truly fair? Besides the military, the answer is nothing...
You are not championing the enviroment, you are wanting people to give up their freedoms. And you are doing it in the name of lies. Whats more disturbing is you don't even try to defend the loss of lives because of enviromental "causes". WAKE UP MAN!
As for you other comments about war, art funding, and feeding the poor...I understand you are trying to add weight to your arguement, but you are really all over the place and trying to take this into other tangents which are separate issues on their own. Instead, you should defend your ideology because that is what we are really debating here.
I champion liberty while you are championing tyranny.
Let me leave you with this thought and please think on it. (Man is imperfect and therefore anything man creates will also be imperfect. Wouldn't the best way to live in a civil society be in one which lets each person live their own life and meet their own needs to the best of their abilities?) Because how can any one man or group of people know better than you how you should live your life?
