this is because battlegrounds functions pretty much similarly to a raid environment. The utility called for for holy priests isn't dissimilar to what's needed for raids, which is why i mentioned you can get away speccing a PvE spec in the battlegrounds. the exception would be Body and Soul, which you'll have to pick up and should change everything. it's basically a PvE spec that shines in the battlegrounds, but not much in the tree is truly geared towards PvP.
