Giving away 350 Cooking isn't pathetic. Do you know how many people don't even have Cooking because they don't want to level it? At least this gives them an incentive, and afterwards they can keep leveling it.

Do you know how many people have leveled it already on another character, and don't want to start all over again? It makes it nice making it easy, and not another thing you have to grind out on another character.
