Finally did it at Ironforge. Took a couple of attempts to get the timing right, but had to rez over my corpse and immediately sit down in that millisecond before the guards aggroed on me.

Don't know what would work for Exodar or Darnassus (old world flying???). I did those the night before the patch, just because I had the time and figured they'd be hardest. They were actually a breeze, compared to IF.

Spent a couple of hours camping at a seat at stormwind (waiting for ally rogues of the "right" race), with nary a problem, except a set of capped allies circling around me, variously spitting, calling me chicken, and spamming duel challenges.
