While I can't say I have done anything on the beta, currently in 4.0, I PvP as disc. If a rogue is really good, yeah, chances are he'll keep you locked until you die; but if it is a typical rogue, you should NEVER get beat.

It's the bleeds and the poisons that fuck you, and that's what PS+every instant you have is for. Empowered renew will be hawt imo as disc in PvP..
