Elemental invasion boss portals open until further notice

The blue announcement is as follows:
BashiokDue to your valiant efforts in protecting the key invasion cities, the four boss portals are now 'permanently' open. If you need anything from inside the portals, or maybe you dropped your keys in there, now is the time to go through and get them.
Initial reports from shaman in the area that were available at time of publishing suggest that this is hinting at something far more sinister. One such shaman, a one 'Krunkmaster' from Proudmoore was quoted as saying "This is hinting at something far more sinister."

Is this blizzard's hint at something happening in the last hour pre-maitenance, or just them saying "YOU DIDN'T SAVE YOUR CITIES ENOUGH!" also, how do i make it so i can just type a password in to this and it will put the comment up straight away?

Honestly, I don't think so. We haven't heard *anything*, and normally we hear at least something before a major thing happens. I gather it's possible that Blizzard has something up their sleeves for the next few hours, but I highly doubt it.

I'm pretty sure they're only hinting at the fact that the Shattering is tomorrow. I don't know why they would ever want to have an event at 2am Pacific Time, and I'm sure as heck not staying up until 4am local time just to find out.

You mean instead of needing to go to your email and validate every comment? You need to register for an account and your password needs to be correct. You can change your password at joystiq.com if you don't remember the original one that was just random numbers and letters.

alternatively, they're just sick of trying to fix bugging citizens not being able to be saved, resulting in a vast amount of complaints and QQs.

Strangely, the elemental attacks are still happening, but nobody on my server is bothering to fight the elementals because there's no incentive anymore.
