The blue announcement is as follows:
BashiokDue to your valiant efforts in protecting the key invasion cities, the four boss portals are now 'permanently' open. If you need anything from inside the portals, or maybe you dropped your keys in there, now is the time to go through and get them.
Initial reports from shaman in the area that were available at time of publishing suggest that this is hinting at something far more sinister. One such shaman, a one 'Krunkmaster' from Proudmoore was quoted as saying "This is hinting at something far more sinister."

There is no Krunkmaster....
....no, seriously, I just looked it up - a Krunkmaster of Proudmoore does not exist in the armory.

That particular error means that the character does, indeed exist, it just isn't at a high enough level to be shown.

I suppose, was there much warning for the garrosh - thrall fight just before wrath? or was that in a loop like the Leader's meetings atm?

I'm sure the people who think the world will end are the same people who believe in 2012.

you know what, i think you're probably right. in fact, its probably just no good teen mages getting up to mischief, setting up portals. i'm sure if we all just ignore them though, they'll get bored and go conjure up some cheap liquor, and everything will be back to normal again.

Well, I *was* up and online from 3am-5am EST, getting my several 80s some last-minute gift items, and there were no special events as far as I could see. Sorry, Agrona, I didn't find your keys.
