I love my bear, Bahr ("There's a bahr!" "Whar?" "Over thar!") and will probably continue to use him while soloing, but I do want to keep a stable of pets leveled and ready for instances. So I appreciate the advice, since I just reached 80 and did very few dungeons along the way.

I personally haven't found it that easy to keep pets at my level, and I'm not sure why that is--except that I level via questing almost exclusively, so I guess I'm getting a lot more Exp than my pets are.
