I've been running around like mad grabbing every pet I ever wanted. Warp-stalker? Dibs. Polar bear? Mine! Slithid? Called it dude! I still plan on my main team being my devilsaur/windserpent/worm A-Team, but I LOVE being able to switch at a moment's notice.
My main complaint is the need to dismiss the pet before summoning the next one, though it is a reasonable thing to do. The other classes, particularly warlocks, would be in uproar if we could be battering away with a tenacity like a bear, then switch to a devilsaur if we target a healer and lose only a global cooldown for it. Considering the only alternative I can think of is to remove the dismiss pet nessecity, but to also ensure pets can only be summoned out of combat, which seems a poor trade-off to me.
