"Without warning, the corrupted Dragon Aspect, Deathwing, erupted from the stone heart of Deepholm, the domain of earth within the Elemental Plane"Soooo, the earthquakes, elementals and Twilight cutlists are all in the wrong Azeroth?

I would have figured that the twilight Cult, Earthquakes, and rifts to the elemental planes were Warning, but I guess I was wrong about that :p

Canonically, there really wasn't much to link Deathwing to any of it. The cultists all serve Twilight's Hammer which no one knows is now working for the Big D. The earthquakes are related to the elements, but no one is sure how or why yet.So in-game, a giant dragon bursting forth from the earth and destroying the landscape comes as a bit of a surprise, especially to those who thought they had figured it all out and that Cho'Gall was behind it all.

That's not really true. Anyone who went after the Earth Princess event boss (complete blank on the name) would have known. As she is talking with Cho'Gall, she calls him a servent of Deathwing. In theory those adventurers would have told others. So, it should be known, at least per in game events, that Deathwing is ultimately responsible.

Hmm... I didn't get to see the conversation, we just kind of killed her, and I didn't much bother to do the fights more than once. Was there anything in those conversations that revealed that Deathwing was coming, beyond a couple of adventurers and a faction leader overhearing that Cho'Gall is working for Deathwing, was there any indication that Deathwing was set to 'break through'?I still think that Deathwing's arrival would still come 'without warning.' Unless I overlooked a crucial bit of detail in terms of someone revealing that the Aspect of Death was planning on breaking through and attacking in person. But I could be mistaken again. :)
