Maybe someone here, reading back 6 or 7 pages, will be able to discover the answer to this for me.
I've been leveling my druid with intentions of being 80 before Cata, and had decided I wanted to ding 80 by completing the last exploration I needed in the World Explorer achievement. I did not predict the Shattering...

Will the World Explorer talent be set to the new Cata one in this patch, making it unobtainable till 7 Dec, or will it remain the same till then?

There are loads of new areas in the altered zones, so you have to explore them before getting any achievement.
