"...Female trolls have only one non-hideous face option (which has resulted in just about every player character looking exactly the same).."This comment reeks of pro-elf tree hugging bias! The smooth troll female face is the most hideous, soul-less face in existance. If you want pretty features, that's what the -lesser races- are there for. If you want to look awesome, you play a Troll.I'm one of those fannatical troll players you mention. All my toons = trolls. Mah soul for Rastakhan! From a personal standpoint, I think all elves are HIDEOUS monstrosities. I think they represent an idealised eye-candy view of femininity that I'm both disgusted by and not willing to buy into. I think Troll females, next to Orcs, and (occasionally)Tauren, are hands down the sexiest, sassiest female modeled horde characters in WoW based on REALNESS alone. They're not an idealized shape. They don't limp-wristedly flounce around going "HEY LOOK I'M AN ELF STARE AT MY BOOBS AS I JUMP UP AND DOWN". You don't see any of that garbage with troll females. They're sexy as hell, they know it, and they don't need to flaunt it. From a purely min-maxing standpoint, trolls have maybe the worst racials for druids, unless they're balance, and then they're pretty ok. Beast Slaying is a far cry from useless, as it applies to both PVE and PVP(read: VS other druids), more more useful in a purely DPS situation than free invisibility. Berserking is great in a pinch for a speedy spells (look at troll elemental shaman in pvp and tell me it's a useless talent, lol). Since it's not about min-maxing for alot of people, here's an analogy some raiders will appreciate: Pre 4.01, blood elves had the -WORST DPS STATS- for hunters, out of all races that could be hunters, worse even then Tauren. In a flat dps race, identically geared trolls and orcs were leaps and bounds ahead of them. Yet how many people were playing blood elf hunters? How many blood elf hunters did you see in ICC pulling less dps than all the trolls and the orcs?exactly.
