Around Azeroth: It's a family affair
Well, it's Thanksgiving in the United States today, which means that many of us will be returning home to spend some time with our extended families. Others of us will be responding to 911 calls when your cousins begin throwing steak knives at each other, or your drunk uncles try to deep fry a turkey in an enclosed garage, or your dad is turned into the main course. May your time with your family be free of such unpleasant surprises. (Thanks to Veritäs of <Ðoomsday> on Agamaggan [US-H] for this screenshot.)

You do understand that they can delay posts, right? This could have been written a week ago and set to post this morning.

Congratulations! Hope everything went smoothly and that the rest of the family understands if you'll be a little late on the turkey dinner this year.

Congrats very much on the healthy baby girl! I guess you guys really have a lot to be thankful for this year. May she grow to be healthy, wise, and geeky. (We geekettes need all the girls we can to bolster our ranks... ;) )

As a cop working Thanksgiving (I am posting from the computer in my car--if I could just log into WoW) the caption made me lol as it is all too true. Anyway Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating--from Windrunner and SW FLorida
Ullaana Nov 25th 2010 11:41AM
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Thanks for being part of that thin blue line.
Angrycelt Nov 25th 2010 12:16PM
Right there with you. But working late watch tonight. Drunk drivers and domestic violence. Aah, the holidays.
Ullaana Nov 25th 2010 12:49PM
@ Angrycelt,
And thanks to you too.
Alassiel Nov 25th 2010 1:16PM
I'm sorry you couldn't spend the whole day with your family, but happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for being a part of the thin blue line and helping the rest of us feel that more secure.

I wish we celebrated Canadian and American Thanksgiving in Canada. Darn.
