Great article Brian :)Question about the normalization of shots and weapon speed. I run with Zod's Repeating Longbow (speed 2.8). Will my dps drop as well or is it with weapons slower than that?

Oh and I'm going to miss 'Scare Beast' at lower level. Saved my behind many a times while soloing Wailing Caverns :)

In theory your dps wont change because your shots are already using the normalization.

"I run with Zod's Repeating Longbow (speed 2.8). Will my dps drop as well or is it with weapons slower than that?""The only downside to normalization is that if you were using a weapon _slower_ than 2.8 (as most of us were), your DPS will go down a bit as a result."It's right there in the article! ;)

@Ronin: I know, but somehow i'm still looking for an excuse to justify my awful drop in dps ;) I suck at rotations apparently... :(

martin your not alone after 4.0.3a my dps fell off i have no idea why but now my dps as Bm and MM is very simaliar which i like becuase since i was a young hunter all those years ago it rang in my ears without a good pet a hunter is just a mage with a gun but im guessing the fall off has to do with the fact dps is now based around 85 instead of 80.....just my assumption
