Around Azeroth: Overheated and underdressed
Nimiane of <Blazon> on Antonidas (US-A) writes, "On Tuesday, the day of the 4.0.3a Shattering, 20 of our guild members journeyed out to Azshara to check out the Gallywix Pleasure Palace. Up there, we enjoyed a nice dip in the pool, along with a round of 'Fact or Crap' (a board game played like True or False), an obstacle race, a best resortwear contest, and a ride on the newly built rocket way. Something else we are proud of is possibly one of the world first kills of the level 85 elite Trade Prince Gallywix!" They also took a visit to the sauna, where awkwardness ensued after a draenei refused to remove the pumpkin embedded in his chest.

I've been up there and I couldn't find Gallywix, the whole place was just empty except for Trade Prince Donais (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=50043). No idea who he is, but that must be the level 85 they killed.

He is trade prince/leader who is related to the goblin quest start. Wont say more about it.
The place is most likely simply for "RP" or relaxation. I would rather spend evening there than ogrimmar busy streets. Theres no quest related IIRC.

Nvm, you meant donais I guess. Most likely random trade prince that escaped from goblin area.
But still, nice place to relax or RP in.

Ah, I lol'ed at the end...
Sorry dudes, wasn't Gallywx ya killed, twas Donias. And remember: Faction leaders aren't level 85 elites, faction leaders are boss level elites.

Sorry, that just tickled my funny bone. You would think the lack of boss status and the name would have tipped them off...
The rest of it sounds like great fun though!

So you can get into the Pleasure Palace? I tried to find the entrance last time I was in Azshara, but couldn't find a path up from either the ground or from the rocket track. I figured it was inaccessible until you could fly in Azeroth, but I guess not. What's the secret?

Last time I checked (on the ptr) you had to die close to it, and rez up there, with the spirit healer. :)

Jumping. It's difficult, but possible.
The Pirate Nov 26th 2010 11:07AM
Theres a quest that gives you a wind rider. You can manage to fly to the Palace before it bucks you off

I was just about to ask this same question. Thanks for the helpful answers, all! ^.^

How do you get up there? I went to where it is on the map, but it's just a huge mountain, and I ran all the way around it without finding a way up... did I just miss it?

I have to be honest: that scene looks like it came from Moon Guard Goldshire Inn.
Senju Nov 26th 2010 1:08PM
LOL I thought the same exact thing.
StClair Nov 26th 2010 3:56PM
My first thought also.

That pic reminds me of the hot tub scene from FF7 but with less mustache. Disturbing.

When I saw this picture, the first thing that came to mind was, "These boys look like they get together and whack gallywix..."
