One of the online blogs, SLOG (in Seattle) just started a Durotan Horde and Alliance guild - everyone's doing the turkey quests to start - hope yours is great!

Won't the holiday things be gone by then? The calendar for the server I'm on at the moment says it ends overnight at 3am on Saturday.
Robin Torres Nov 26th 2010 11:24PM
it ends at 11:59pm Saturday on Zangarmarsh
gewalt Nov 26th 2010 11:39PM
@Robin Torres: Why would one server get a whole extra day of a holiday event that every other server isnt getting?
Either you or blizzard has some explaining to do
Robin Torres Nov 26th 2010 11:55PM
it says 27th on the calendar, so it isn't a whole extra day. It's the end of the day.
gewalt Nov 27th 2010 12:09AM
ya, but mine says it ends at 4 AM on the 27th.... which is a whole waking day.
gewalt Nov 26th 2010 10:50PM
too bad the holiday ends at 4 AM..

Have you guys ever considered starting an alliance guild on this server to run these events concurrently, wouldn't it provide more of a challenge and prevent the steamrollings that apparently occur. (i'm jus thinking back to that event awhile ago where too many horde toons spoiled the event). I hope it works out though ;-)
Necromann Nov 27th 2010 12:33AM
But there would only be half the ppl on each one, better to have all on one faction imo.

What I want is an event on a European server.

I guess the issue that last time was that there were so many funsuckers in the crowd, there was an overall concensus that there were too many players for this pvp event ( I believe It was in the eastern plaguelands). People either felt left out b/c there were too many or felt that steamrolling through the pvp objectives of the particular event made it a non event. What was also noted, was the server's Alliance toons were griefed to the point that it wasn't fun, and i remember the comments.
I recognize that this may not apply to this particular event, but it is worth mentioning, for future endeavors, but anyways thanks robin & co. for putting on the event.

This is confusing since on Fenris it ends at 4am on the 27th which is in about 3 hours.

Per Allison Robert on your own site..
"The Pilgrim's Bounty holiday was introduced to World of Warcraft just last year, so it's still fairly new. This year, the event will run from Sunday, November 21st through Saturday, November 27th. On my EST server, the start and end times on both dates will be 4:00 am"
Uhh you waited to long.. this will be a "NO-GO" unless Blizzard extends it..

I have checked the calendar on Zangarmarsh multiple times. It says it ends at 11:59pm Saturday. Perhaps the calendar is wrong, but that is what mine shows.
Arlen Nov 27th 2010 2:57AM
Shows 4am for me on Zangarmarsh, I just checked.
Jehrbair Nov 27th 2010 7:20AM
Just checked on Zangarmarsh at 5:10 am server time, and Pilgrim's Bounty is still running! Oddly, my calendar also says it was supposed to end at 4 am.
G01851 Nov 27th 2010 8:10AM
For whatever odd reason, when it says an event ends at 4 am, its actually 4 am of the following day...
Arlys Nov 27th 2010 7:52AM
Attack of the Time Zone Conversion:
The event ends on the date stated, at 11:59 PM + 1 minute ... Pacific Time.
Our calendars are telling us what time it ends in our time zones ... but they are not adjusting the date.
Dannilion Nov 27th 2010 8:20AM
I'm on Zangermarsh now (created a US account. Yay!) and it says Pilgrim's Bounty is going to finish at 9am in the calendar. I guess they haven't decided yet what time it's finishing.
Collected Nov 27th 2010 8:30AM
This event has already finished on Silverhand US.
