Around Azeroth: Old gods do new jobs
"Azeroth ia ia!" proclaims madman Takshash of <Rooster Illusion> on Thrall (US-H). "'That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.' N'Zoth waits dreaming! N'zoth fhtagn! One of my favorite spots in the game was made even cooler by the Shattering."

What? I'm on an RP server..... and Geez, Not like every hero was immune to their sultry words.

The part of me that was forced to go to sunday school as a child feels mildly offended, but the rest of me has started singing your song already so it doesn't matter.

Love it! Nothin like a good Lovecraft reference to start the morning. N'zoth fhtagn!

Do we know it's spelled N'zoth, then? Last I heard we didn't know the official spelling.
Saeadame Nov 27th 2010 12:29PM
I think we don't, but if we're going by some other spellings/pronunciations in the game... Blizz likes their apostrophes, so it's safe to say there probably is one in there somewhere.

If I'm honest, I liked it better before. It was more subtle.
GuyverIV Nov 27th 2010 1:11PM
Subtle?
The world was Broken, my friend. (That's with a capital B)
We left subtle behind a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago.
(Not that I completely disagree, but out of all the goodies we've gotten, a healthy dose of Subtlety is not one of them)

Wow, never saw wowpedia before- what exactly is the difference between in and wowwiki? Wowpedia looks so much nicer.
pancakes Nov 27th 2010 5:59PM
Wowpedia is where the wowwiki editors have gone after a dispute with wikia, the website that hosts many of the wikis on the Internet. I don't know the full story, but it was something about wikia implementing a new layout to squeeze more ad space into wowwiki.
