And when I started, you had ONE spec and people were changing specs to fit a particular raid need, at the cost of 50G each time you changed. Side Note: I wonder where all that money goes.... does it go to help support those orphans we have to carry around each May?
Now we ARE starting to sound like our parents and grandparents. :)

I like the calls for a refund if prices go down. Are these people back at Best Buy three months after they bought their PC demanding a refund because its cheaper now?

Hunters had it EASY....
Why, My priest and my shaman had to respec after each raid just to grind mats for pots for the NEXT raid....
AND THEN we'd have to repec back to heals for the raid.
And who else remember always bringing along a lock so that the off tank could respec MID RAID back to DPS for DPS race bosses, and then Hearth/Re-summon back to raid on bosses that needed an off tank.
And We LIKED IT.... wait.. no, not really....
I am a proud member of the guild 'Get off My Lawn'. Because 'Damn Kids these days' was taken....

@Toggle, sometimes yes! There was quite an uproad when the iPhone price dropped the first time -- some early adopters whined and complained about the price they'd paid vs. the price people could pay now.

That is certainly something I'll never miss; the days of no dual spec.
Why back in BC, when I first started to raid, I had a hybrid holy/disc spec on my priest and kept it for the whole expansion. I simply couldn't keep up with constantly having to pay and respec. After all, there were no good dailies back in early BC.
But then Wrath came out. And I started to raid Naxx on my shaman, and holy shit did I play the respec gods then. Every other raid I had to switch between Elemental combat and Restoration. And when I needed to heal/dps, I was never already the spec they wanted me to be. Oh no, that'd be to convent. It was a godsend that the respec cost capped out at 50 gold. Sure, that may seem like a lot, but I would be up to 200 gold respecs if the cap didn't exist.
I may have no hunter of my own, but by god, I fully understand.
Though my favorite change that hunters complain about is not having enough talents for their pets. Talents, ha! I tried to explain to someone how training points worked, they became very, very lost.
