Not enough information? Back in the day you had Elitist Jerks and Big Red Kitty; today you've got Warcraft Hunter's Union, Huntsman's Lodge, FemaleDwarf, and Petopia. There was and always will be TONS of information, Frost just does a much better job of testing and justifying the information than most other sites, and keeps it all nice and organized (for which I am immensely grateful).
Sure, some things were tougher here and there - it sure is nice to have more pets in the menagerie, the ability to leap backward 13 yards, and an interesting rotation in the Beast Mastery tree - but life was pretty sweet in other ways. Back in my day we had a reticle-based, non target-based AoE Volley you could use anywhere within 35 yards of the hunter, including behind you. Not only that, but its AoE damage cap stacked with Explosive Trap, and back then your resource pool almost NEVER emptied in a raid environment with all the mana-regeneration buffs available.
Don't even get me started on PvP.
In some ways the kiddies have it easier now but I, for one, already miss the good ol' days.
