"I also kept a pouch full of my, now greyed, ammo in the bank."
Glad to hear I'm not the only hunter who did this. I have one Iceblade Arrow and one Saronite Razorhead in my bags, just because. The Saronite I used for grinding and dailies. The Iceblade I saved for raids. I had a half bag of each. I have the screenshot of the 28 count ammo bag completely full; 28k of ammo. If I got below 10k for either arrow, I started to sweat a little and made my next stop the AH. I'm sure I put some engineer's kid through gnome school.
Honestly, as much as I look back at what we've gone through to get where we are, I don't miss those days. The return of crowd control has me giddy, giddy I tell you with anticipation of actually showing those Wrath babies how we do it "down home". I'm already the last one to come to a raid so we have all buffs covered. "Can you bring the devilsaur, the ravager, the core hound and the cat? We know you don't go anywhere without the bear."
These are heady times for hunters. Those of us who have lasted from vanilla through BC and now through Wrath have a wealth of info to impart to baby Cata hunters. As long as they pick up after their pet, they can drop by my house any time. The Rhaspody Malt is always on chill.
