Cataclysm poster signed by the devs up on eBay
If you're looking for a holiday gift or just something really awesome to decorate your walls, head over to eBay and see if you can be lucky enough to get/afford a Cataclysm poster signed by the development team. This poster has original signatures signed right on it (unlike the one last year, which was surrounded by some confusion). It's really a unique and special piece of Warcraft history -- very much a collector's item.
And best of all, I think, is that proceeds go to support the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue.
Good luck with your bidding!

This is cool. I'm glad the devs opted to help their fellow co-worker with the charity.
And I'm glad the Blizz big-wigs are doing the Make-a-Wish thing, all official-like.
The company has IMMENSE leverage with a very large community (us), and for them to use that to do charity work is great. I only wish I had some spare cash to bid on that poster. :)

so this is what the poster that is on backorder from the blizzcon pre-sale looks like, sans signatures! :)

That poster is weak! This Blizzcon poster is how it's done!! http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n71/cyberstatic/The%20Elda-Cave/2010-10-26040512.jpg
Approx 160 signatures including Metzen, Morhime, Samwise, Browder, the WoW dev team, the D3 dev team, the SC2 dev team, the cinematics team, the sound team, the creative development team, the voice actors, the Bnet 2 team, and many assorted others.
Not for sale though!

Go donate to them then, and stop complaining here.

That's a strangely specific charity.
They don't help all dogs, just golden retrievers...
Chucks Nov 30th 2010 6:40PM
Haha what are they rescuing Golden Retrievers from, the gluten-free dog food of suburbia?
Bronwyn Nov 30th 2010 8:22PM
The ignorance of your post is amazing; since Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular breeds of dogs, it follows that they also have a proportionally high number of abandonment cases and the like; I would also not be surprised if they get retired from animal handlers who work in the entertainment industry and such things.

All for a good cause i guess - not sure Deathwing would approve.

Am I the only one who first read 'signed by elves'?
I guess its that time of year again...
