I haven't seen anywhere to ask this question on the site today (except the Queue), and I thought the front page of this one might help.
Did Blizz nerf the amount of experience killing rares got you? I remember for the first few days of the Shattering killing one of them would net you AT LEAST as much experience as a quest at that level would. I've killed two of them today on my Forsaken in Tirisfal and it's only given me the same amount as any other mob.

Is anyone ready? I have no Eternal Belt Buckles made, no Mongoose or Berserker Scrolls, I have no potions, no flasks, no route plan, no friends, my fishing is on 176 and I'm upset.
I do have 60 Instant Poison, though... that's always comforting.

Umm why bother playing at 3am eastern on launch night? Servers more than likely will be down at 6am or even 8am for maint as it is a monday. Are 3 hours really going to make that much of a difference?

Why do people assume that servers will be down at launch. It hasn't been a problem for a while now.
If you're talking about weekly maintenance, then no, there's no maintenance on launch week.

For me this countdown started pretty much the moment I killed the Lich King. There's plenty to do still, sure, but we've been bleeding raiders for a month or two. We lost our The Insane meaning [United Nations] will be that much harder to get as a guild. :\

Is there a way to verify that your digital download has downloaded properly and you're all set to go at midnight pacific? I bought the digital download and it said that the download would happen as soon as I logged onto WoW. So, of course, I immediately logged onto WoW and...nothing seemed to happen. I logged out and opened the downloader and it didn't appear to be doing anything. How can I make sure I'm really all set?

I think it's background-downloaded, which means that the data is being streamed invisibly while you play.
I was wondering the same thing but I'm sure someone will confirm if this is right.
